It was a welcome surprise to the start of the school year for the returning children and staff at Burwood East SDS with their new play spaces completed and ready for use.
Jeavons designed and project managed the construction of the senior, middle and early education play spaces of the school grounds. The design focused on the school’s design requirements for the children to engage in vestibular, kinesthetic and proprioceptive activities, on top of the other 5 sensory elements.
The middle and early ed play spaces had been sitting barren for a year prior to our involvement and we were delighted to be able to deliver to them a space to return to on time.
