We re-visited the Early Learning Centre at Firbank Grammar Junior School in Brighton to take a peek at how things are going with their new outdoor play space. The outdoor space was refurbished in 2015 and features an extensive natural sand play area with a dry creek bed, rock bridge and a challenging rock scramble for students to climb upon.
While we were visiting, the students were having a great time playing in the pebble creek. The teachers set up a mini-quarry with a stone washing station and stone dump for some imagination play, shown in the photos below.
