W.A. PARKS AND LEISURE AUSTRALIA AWARDS

Jeavons landscape Architects are happy to announce three awards of excellence from WA Parks & Leisure Australia for Kwinana Adventure Playground; Park of the Year Award, Playspace Award (>$0.5M) and Best Community Program. Our collaboration with Josh Byrne and Associates in Western Australia resulted in a spectacular space built amongst some massive indigenous trees which were protected and preserved for future generations. The design incorporated a number of areas with a variety of activities including a splash pad area, a flying fox, a multi directional swing and even a trampoline and accessible carousel. What a treat for the residents of Kwinana.
The project was constructed by Environmental Industries who brought the vision to life. We acknowledge the role Fiona Robbe (Architects of Arcadia) played in the initial consultation with the community. Thank you Parks & Leisure for these three awards!
