We are excited to announce that Jeavons Landscape Architects will be running our annual seminar on the 29th of May this year. Our speakers will be interrogating the importance of risky play and how not to shy away from risk in our play spaces.
Featuring speakers Daniel Burton, Dr Barbara Chancellor, David Kutcher, and Mike Hewson, the presentations will focus on knowledge sharing and facilitating professional learning.
Our key topics for this year’s seminar are:
- The value and benefits of risky and challenging play
- Practical application of theories about play
- Strategies for children and adults to engage with risk through play
- Review of case studies and past projects
We would love you to attend in person and have again booked the wonderful City of Melbourne Bowls Club with good food and coffee included. The seminar will also be available for online attendance. All the sessions will be streamed live on the day and will be recorded and available for all attendees to watch later.
We are looking forward to seeing you in person or online!
We are proud to have this seminar supported by Play Australia and the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects.
For attending Landscape Architects this seminar is approved for 6 AILA CPD points.
