AILA Research & Communications Award Winner

Zoë Metherell, an associate at Jeavons Landscape Architects, has received the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects Research & Communications award for her work titled “A comparative study of freeway planting designs – implications for biodiversity conservation”.

This work was a collaboration between Zoë and the Australian Research Centre for Urban Ecology and demonstrates how quantitative measures can be used to analyse and inform designed landscapes.

Winners – PLA, Victoria/Tasmania Regional and National Playspace Award of Excellence 2011

Bicentennial Park Playground (Mount Chelsea) is the 2011 winner of the Parks and Leisure Australia , Victoria/Tasmania Regional and National Play Space Award of Excellence.

Bicentennial Park Playground was a joint effort with City of Kingston from start to finish. Steve Perumal from the City of Kingston and Leong Khoo from the Jeavons Team led the design and construction aspects for this project.

Jeavons Landscape Architects have been selected to feature in the 2012 Bloom Exhibition at the Gallery of Australian Design in Canberra . Our designs for Clifton Hill Railway Project and the Isabel Henderson Kindergarten will feature in the exhibition which focuses on the topic “How landscapes keep us healthy”.
