Ku-ring-gai Council has a well-managed suite of playgrounds that constitute a major asset for the Ku-ring-gai community. Like all councils, Ku-ring-gai needs to manage this resource carefully because of the cost of both capital upgrades and on-going maintenance.
To this end, Council engaged landscape architecture company to review the strategic direction of playground provision in order to make sure that the quality and distribution of play provision met the needs of the community and also to remain financially viable.
